Awards season is still going strong. The 61st Annual Grammy Award Show was held at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles last Sunday. Still in the spirit of the biggest night in music? Here are highlights from the previous Grammy Award shows over the past 10 year from Lady Gaga hatching out of an egg in 2011 to Bruno Mars clinching six wins in 2018.

2011: Lady Gaga Arrived At the Grammys In An Egg

Yes, you read that title correctly. Lady Gaga spent 72 hours incubating in an egg leading up to her performance of "Born This Way" at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2011. The 'Mother Monster' arrived at the Grammys inside of the egg, and she hatched out of the egg when she sang on stage later in the evening.

2012: The Start of LL Cool J Being the Recurring Host of the Grammys

There was not a host for the biggest night in music from 2006 to 2011. That wasn't the case after LL Cool J hosted the 54th Annual Grammy Awards in 2012. The two-time Grammy winner was the recurring host from 2012 to 2016.

2013: Maroon 5 Performed with Alicia Keys

Even though Maroon 5 and Alicia Keys did not take any Grammys home at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, their duet brought the fire to the stage that evening in 2013. Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, started the performance with his falsetto as his band performed their hit song, 'Daylight'. Alicia Keys rocked out on drums before she graced the stage with her powerful vocals as she sung 'Girl On Fire'. Maroon 5 and Alicia Keys sang bits of each other's songs and harmonized at the end.

2014: 33 Couples Wed Live On Air During Macklemore and Madonna's Performance

The Grammys are an evening that celebrates how music can bring people together. That was exactly what happened at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in 2014. Mary Lambert joined Macklemore and Ryan Lewis to sing their hit song 'Same Love'. Jazz artist Trombone Shorty played a musical interlude during the performance. Queen Latifah introduced the segment proclaiming that 'Same Love' is a song "for all of us." Latifah was the officiant for the 33 couples who got married. After pronouncing that the couples are now legally married, Madonna hit the stage and sang her 1986 hit song 'Open Your Heart.'

2015: Rihanna Turns Heads in Giambattista Valli Couture Gown

The Grammy Awards show praises music, honors those who are in the industry, and brings awareness to spark social change. Although the news surrounding the Grammy Awards is typically about the wins, the acceptance speeches, and the performances, the red carpet looks from attendees goes viral in the headlines...Which is exactly what happened when Rihanna wore this salmon-pink gown by Giambattista Valli Couture.

2016: Taylor Swift Slammed Kanye West During Her Acceptance Speech

Taylor Swift opened the 58th Annual Grammy Awards with a show-stopping performance singing "Out of the Woods". The song is featured on Taylor's album, "1989". On that evening in 2015, she was nominated for seven awards, and won three of them: Album of the Year, Best Music Video, and Best Pop Vocal Album. The songstress thanked her fans when she started off her acceptance speech for Album of the Year.

"As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there: There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame," she nonchalantly refers to Kanye West.

"But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, some day when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there — and that will be the greatest feeling in the world. Thank you for this moment," she concluded.

2017: Beyoncé Makes History

Beyoncé slayed the evening of the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. This was her first dominant appearance since she debuted her baby bump. The Queen Bey reigned with nine nominations for the Grammys in 2017, which marked a historical moment in her career – receiving a total of 62 nominations. The "Love On Top" vocalist earned the Best Music Video award for "Formation" and the award for Best Urban Contemporary Album. Beyoncé's performance that evening was ***flawless.

2018: Bruno Mars Won Six Awards

What a night for Bruno Mars! Bruno Mars racked up the most wins at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in 2018. He finessed both the Record of the Year and the Song of the Year for "24K Magic." Bruno snagged R&B Song and R&B Performance for "That's What I Like." The '"Just The Way You Are"' crooner also won the following awards: Album of the Year for "24K Magic," R&B Album for "24K Magic." Bruno Mars and rapper Cardi B got the crowd on their feet when they performed their collaboration, "Finesse."
